Take a gaze into the utterly critical new issue.
Every issue of Something is Killing the Children offers a new bite or a new twist to its monster-smashing mythology. The story started as one thing and slid into something else without betraying the appeal of those earliest issues. As the comics piled on top of each other a new creature emerged. We love this beast.
The comic from writer James Tynion IV and artist Werther Dell'Edera haunts. It sticks with you, and it usually bubbles into your imagination just before sleep takes over. And in that realm, with the dreams and the nightmares, Something is Killing the Children truly reigns supreme.
Issue 17 promises to delve into Erica Slaughter's history and her origins as a monster-hunter. The comic hits shelves on June 23rd, but we've got a sneak peek at a few of its pages, as well as some rad cover art. Werther Dell'Edera delivers several gorgeous pages and covers, but we do adore that Ozgur Yildirim piece as well.
